Doug Paul, LPC, LMHC, LCPC, QS, CPCS has been working as a clinician with substance use disorders since 2007. He completed a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in 2002. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University in 2007. During his graduate training, he participated in and presented university-sponsored research findings at the American Counseling Association’s Annual Convention in Montreal, Quebec; going on to present at over 37 professional conferences over the next 18 years. While at two nationally recognized treatment programs in Georgia and Florida from 2007-2020, he gained skills in both clinical and leadership acumen. In private practice for the past five years, he continues to provide therapy, consultation, and supervision. Doug continues to practice his own recovery program, which he has been doing for the last 25 years.
