Jonathan Stevens, M.D. M.P.H. is triple board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He is the owner of Psych Insight, PLLC, a concierge psychiatry practice, and the co-owner of InnerSpace, PLCC, a group psychotherapy practice specializing in comprehensive personal assessments and ketamine services.
He is the former Vice President of Growth & Innovation at the Menninger Clinic and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. As the founder of Menninger’s existing outpatient services division, his team innovated several unique and highly personalized mental health care services.
He graduated from the combined MD-MPH program at New York Medical College, earning a Master’s in Public Health in Health Care Management (2004). His completed a residency in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and McLean Hospital (2007 and 2009, respectively) under the auspices of Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts.
His clinical interests are improving the outcomes of psychiatric care, understanding how genetic variations are associated with response to psychiatric medications., and managing the metabolic burdens of medication. He has authored scores of journal articles and book chapters on psychopharmacology and obesity.
