Katarena Arger is the Clinical Director at Alter Behavioral Health for the past 4.5 years. Katarena Arger, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. Katarena’s expertise encompasses a systemic approach to mental health, addressing co-occurring disorders at individual, family, and societal levels. With experience across various clinical settings, she is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy and Brainspotting. Katarena is also a certified ProACT instructor, providing crisis intervention training to all Alter Behavioral Health staff.
