Faye Jones
MSc

Faye Jones, MSc, APRN, is a dedicated and highly skilled Colorectal Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has worked in a gastrointestinal (GI) setting for over 15 years. She started her career at Guys and St Thomas Foundation Trust in London, UK, where she undertook a Masters in Advanced Practice – Colorectal Care and also became a non-medical prescriber. More recently she works in the private sector in London where she also completed a masters module in Advanced Stoma Care. Faye's career has been committed to delivering high standards of care for patients undergoing colorectal care, including the management of colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and other GI disorders. 
Her masters dissertation was centred around Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), and the benefit to patients and clinicians. Faye has set up a prehabilitaion service at her current work place, and does teaching in this area to other hopsitals to help them implement similar services. Her expertise extends to pelvic floor and bowel dysfunction, and she has a key interest in sexual dysfunction following anterior resection surgery.
Faye is an advocate for continuous learning and professional developement, she participates in research and also contributes to clinical practice guidelines and speaks on advisary boards.
