Diane L. Krasner PhD, RN, FAAN, FAAWC, MAPWCA is a board-certified wound care nurse (CWCN, WOCNCB) with over 35 years of experience in wound, ostomy and incontinence care across the continuum of care. She has served as editor and co-editor of Chronic Wound Care: A Clinical Source Book for Healthcare Professionals and Chronic Wound Care:The Essentials since 1990. She co-chairs the Why Wound Care? Nursing Advisory Board. Diane testifies as an expert witness in wound cases and has numerous publications in the wound care literature. She currently serves on the boards of WoundSource and the Post-Acute Care Wound & Skin Integrity Council.
