Christina Richardson MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWON started her career as a RN in 2008 at Ridgewater College, Hutchinson Minnesota. She soon knew she needed to continue to advance her career. She acheived her certification as a Wound/Ostomy nurse from Webwoc in 2015. She has accomplished a Master's in Nurse Education from South Univerisity in Savannah, Georgie in 2013. Along with completing her Master's in the Science of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021 from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Christina continues to have a passion for Wound/Ostomy care and enjoys growing wtih the industry. Helping patients heal their complicated wounds using evidence based practice in order to prevent ampuation is a true calling for Christina. She continues to provide education and skillset on pressure ulcer management and prevention, cost effective treatment and interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialty providers. She has held several roles in the Wound Care space not only treating patients in home care, long-term care, hospitals and Outpatient Clinic settings, but providing strong leadership and oversight for a Multistate Region. Partnering with Healogics for several years helping several hospital systems across the United States provide the best wound care possible. She is currently a valued Nurse Practitioner in the Northfield Hospital & Clincs Wound Center in Minnesota. Managing a complex and busy practice while also covering inpatient consults and always enjoys the opportunity to see ostomy patients.
