The session aims to equip participants with the skills to prepare, administer, and confidently utilize long-acting injectable (LAI) medications in the treatment of bipolar I disorder, as well as enhance their motivational interviewing techniques. It combines didactic learning on the limitations and benefits of LAIs with interactive, hands-on practice sessions covering effective communication strategies, injection techniques, and a review of clinical trial data.
