Peripheral Vascular Trainee Lab (PVTL) looks forward to providing a pivotal educational experience for fellows and residents. The meeting offers a limited number of scholarships, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Scholarship Includes:
- Complimentary tuition for both days of the PVTL 2024 program, October 12–13, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois
- Travel stipend of $500 to be used toward travel expenses incurred to attend PVTL

Eligibility for Scholarship
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited vascular surgery, cardiology / interventional cardiology, or interventional radiology residency or fellowship program at the time of the meeting (October 2024).
- Applicants must complete the application, including agreement to the requirements and the following document uploads:
- Submit a signed letter, on letterhead and from your program director, confirming your status as a resident or fellow in October 2024
- Submit a completed W-9 form (US applicants) or a completed wire transfer form (international applicants)
Important Dates
- January 2–April 30, 2024: Applicants will be notified via email of acceptance on a rolling basis. Waitlisted applicants will be notified as well.
- Within 2 weeks of emailed acceptance: If you have been awarded a scholarship and have not confirmed acceptance within two weeks of receiving your award email, your scholarship will be forfeited and offered to someone on the waitlist.
- August 30, 2024: Cancellation Deadline – Cancellation requests must be received no later than August 30, 2024. Please email your cancellation request to Monica Lao at mlao@hmpglobal.com
- August 30: Travel Information Deadline – Submit your travel itinerary to Monica Lao at mlao@hmpglobal.com by this date.
- October 12–13, 2024: Attend PVTL in Chicago, Illinois. Check in at the registration desk and attend all sessions at the conference.
Terms of Acceptance
Cancellations
Scholarships are limited. If you receive one but are unable to attend, please notify us immediately so we can extend complimentary registration to a resident or fellow on the waiting list. Please email Monica Lao at mlao@hmpglobal.com. Cancellations are requested by Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
No-Shows
Failure to send a cancellation request or attend PVTL in full will result in ineligibility for future scholarships opportunities at HMP Global conferences, which include but are not limited to the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), Clinical Symposium on Interventional Oncology (CIO), Western Atrial Fibrillation Symposium (Western AFIB), and the Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP).
