The Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requires prescribers renewing their DEA license to complete a minimum of eight training hours on opioid or substance use disorders. Registrants unable to attend the meeting may send another individual in their place without penalty, except for industry registrants. On-demand purchases of the Plus Package or Premium Plus Package are not transferable or eligible for a refund.
All Attendees at HMP Global events are expected to show respect for and honor the dignity of all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, and/or other personal characteristics. HMP Global encourages members and attendees to identify and report to the proper authorities any person(s) who engages in inappropriate, unprofessional, and harassing activities. Anyone asked to stop any harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately.
HMP Global expects all Attendees to be considerate, respectful, and collaborative and refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Attendees should be mindful of their surroundings and fellow attendees. Please alert event organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to, intimidation, harrassment, or the display of materials or conduct of an abusive, harrassing, derogatory, or demeaning nature.
Harassment includes but is not limited to: offensive comments (verbal, written, or otherwise) related to race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion and/or other personal characteristics; inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation, stalking or unwanted following and/or contact; harassing materials, photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Violations of the HMP Global Events Code of Conduct are determined by HMP Global in its sole discretion and any violation of these rules may be subject to verbal or written warning, expulsion from the event without the obligation to refund any fees, expulsion from future events, possible referral to the appropriate authorities, and other consequences at the discretion of HMP Global, including permanent expulsion from the HMP Global community.
If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify HMP Global event staff as soon as possible. HMP Global event staff will be available at all events to assist those experiencing unacceptable behavior to feel safe for the duration of the event. We also suggest that you make notice to HMP Global in writing. You may also choose to alert venue security or hotel security, if appropriate.
Dermatology Week plans to take photographs, video and/or audio recordings (collectively, “Media”) at Dermatology Week events and reproduce them for use in promotional, educational, informational, advertising and/or commercial materials and communications. By participating in Dermatology Week events, I grant Dermatology Week the right to use my name, image, likeness and voice (collectively, “Likeness”) found in any Media in any materials or communications. Such materials or communications include, but are not limited to, publications, websites, articles, brochures, books, magazines, newsletters, exhibits, videos, films, social media, advertisements, and training programs (collectively, “Materials”)
I understand and agree that HMP Global and Dermatology Week are and shall be the exclusive owner of all right title and interest, including any copyright, in the Media and Materials and that any and all postings are the property of the same. Postings may be displayed, distributed, or used by Dermatology Week for any purpose. Furthermore, I acknowledge Dermatology Week's right to crop, splice, treat and edit any Media containing my Likeness and waive my right to be notified, inspect, improve or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me.
I hereby grant an irrevocable, world-wide, royalty-free right to HMP Global, Dermatology Week, and their industry partners, sponsors and supporters to utilize, adapt, modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform and/or display any Media containing me or my Likeness in any Material. Subsequently, I hereby waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of said Media.
I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless HMP Global, Dermatology Week, and their agents, employees, affiliates and contractors, including, but not limited to, any firm publishing and/or distributing the Media and/or Materials containing my Likeness in whole or in part, form and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of said Media and/or Materials. This includes, but is not limited to, any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or the taking, processing, production, publication, distribution or use of said Media and/or Materials.
Furthermore, I hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless HMP Global, Dermatology Week and their industry partners, sponsors and supporters from any and all claims that I or any third party may have now or in the future for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement, defamation, or any other cause of action arising out of the use, utilization, adaptation, modification, reproduction, distribution, public performance or display of my Likeness used in the Media and/or Materials.
