Cristina Thomas, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as the Associate Program DIrector of the Dermatology Residency Program and specializes in complex medical dermatology, inpatient dermatology, and infectious skin diseases. Dr. Thomas completed residency training at Harvard Medical School, pursuing combined residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and dermatology at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Program. In her final year of training, she served as administrative Chief Resident for the program. Certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020. Dr. Thomas established and runs the HIV Dermatology Clinic at Parkland Memorial Hospital and spends the majority of her clinical time on inpatient consults at UT Southwestern. Dr. Thomas’s clinical and research interests include complex medical dermatology, HIV dermatology, and infectious disease-related dermatology.
