Charlene Barber, BHA NRP, is an EMS Training Coordinator for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Southcentral Alaska. Arriving in the Last Frontier from the East Coast, she is a 30-year veteran of the industry, with experience in all levels of field operations, clinical education, and dispatch communications. Passionate about education, she has served many years as a Field Training Officer, Clinical Educator, and NAEMT Instructor/Coordinator. A state and national speaker, she has spent the last three years dedicating her knowledge and expertise to helping train some of the best rural EMS providers in the country.
