Dr. Cornelius is Associate Medical Director for the Fort Worth OMD. Primary responsibilities include MIH and EMS Innovations. She is an Associate Professor of EM who practices at John Peter Smith Hospital as core faculty EM Residency and Program Director of the Baylor All Saints EMS Fellowship. She is boarded in EM, Family Medicine, and EMS and holds a master’s in International Disaster Management. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Academy of Emergency Medical Services. She has been active in disaster medicine and EMS for over 10 years and is past Chair of the ACEP Disaster Medicine Committee and Chair of Air Medical section and the NAEMSP Emergency Preparedness Committee. Current projects include creating more robust community paramedicine programs and EMS induction of buprenorphine.
