Robert Kerner has been an inner-city street medic for 38 years in the cities of Buffalo NY, Uniondale NY, New York City (NYC-EMS and FDNY), and recently retired from the street in Tennessee. Bob is still flying as a Flight Paramedic and ATP pilot. Bob's first 15 years was dual role professional EMS and volunteer firefighter / Paramedic / heavy rescue technician. Bob has 8 years as a fire officer and more as a EMS field training officer. Bob's forte has always been leadership and safety. Bob has a B.S. in Emergency Medical Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, is an EMS Instructor/Coordinator, a certified Flight Paramedic, and a pilot. Bob is hoping to 'pass the torch' to the younger generations of EMS personnel and officers.
