Kory A. Lane, M.Ed., NRP, FP-C, CCP-C, NCEE, is the EMS Program Director at Piedmont Community College in Roxboro, North Carolina. Kory began in volunteer EMS and has served as a paramedic, critical care paramedic, educator, and author. Kory completed his undergraduate work at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. He graduated from NC State University (Go Pack!) with a Master of Education in Training and Development and a graduate certificate in Teaching, Training, and Educational Technology. He is currently completing his dissertation as a Doctoral Candidate (PhD) in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development at NC State. Kory is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) and their representative to the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).
