Curt Smith MPA, EFO, NRP, has been a local and federal disaster responder for 29 years, 10 with the American Red Cross and 19 with the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). He currently serves as the Deputy Team Commander for Colorado 1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT). He has also served in the Army National Guard 24th Medical Helicopter Ambulance. Curt has been a Nationally Registered Paramedic since 1998 and the fire service since 1999. He has presented at numerous local, state and international conferences on disaster response and preparedness. Curt has been a Fire and EMS instructor for over 25 years teaching all levels of EMS.
