Brooke Burton is the Quality Improvement Manager for Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake County, UT. Brooke has 30 years of experience working as a paramedic in rural to urban environments specializing in performance improvement. Brooke serves on the Editorial Review Board of EMS World magazine and steering committee for the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS). Brooke is the President of the National EMS Management Association (NEMSMA) and Vice President of the National EMS Quality Alliance (NEMSQA) where she also serves on the Measurement Development Committee and various technical expert panels. Brooke is faculty for several national leadership programs and the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) Quality Course. Brooke was the recipient of the American Ambulance Association 2016 award for Best Quality Improvement Program and is a nationally known writer, researcher, and speaker on EMS quality and leadership.
