Barry Bachenheimer, EdD, NREMT/FF, recently retired as a public school assistant superintendent with over 32 years of experience in K-12 education as a teacher and administrator. He is nationally known for his seamless integration of cutting-edge digital tools and engagement strategies into teaching environments, creating effective learning experiences. Dr. Bachenheimer also has 38 years of ALS and BLS field experience and has held leadership roles in EMS and fire departments, from Training Officer to Director of Operations. He has authored books, chapters, and over 100 EMS World Magazine articles. Currently, Dr. Bachenheimer is an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, a field provider and Field Training Officer with the Montclair Ambulance Unit, Roseland Fire Department, and owner of edRescue Solutions, LLC, an education and EMS consulting company. He likes to run and bike far, but not fast.
