Dr. Bouland is the Assistant Clinical Professor, Wilson County Medical Director, and Pitt County Assistant Medical Director, who is well versed in emergency medicine and EMS. He is a Founding Board Member of the Compress & Shock Foundation, A recognized non-profit institution for teaching compression-only CPR to laypersons. Dr. Bouland has presented SADS to the North Carolina EMS Fellowship Grand Rounds at the NAEMSP poster session and is slated for a 2025 oral presentation. SADS pivots from load and goes with critical medical patients to assessment and treatment in place. Dr. Bouland completed medical school at UMBC, residency at Virginia Tech, and his EMS Fellowship at Atrium Health/Mecklenburg EMS - Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
