William Brady, MD, FACEP, FAAEM is a practicing emergency physician at the University of Virginia (UVA); he is residency trained in both emergency medicine and internal medicine. He is a tenured professor of Emergency Medicine, Medicine as well as the Executive Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine. At the UVA, he serves as the chair of the hospital’s Resuscitation Committee and Medical Advisor to UVA’s Department of Safety and Security; in the community, he functions as the operational medical director of Albemarle County Fire Rescue and medical director of EMS Programs at Piedmont VIrginia Communicty College. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Emergency Medicine and an examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
