Abraham Campos, MD, is a dual board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and EMS. He recently served as an Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska, where he also held roles as a medical director for a diverse range of agencies, including career, volunteer, urban, and rural EMS organizations. Dr. Campos founded and led the EMS Fellowship program as its Program Director, fostering the next generation of EMS leaders. An innovator at heart, he contributed to the development of several medical inventions, including a licensed oral swab for strep testing. He also serves as Chief Medical Officer for Hinckley Medical, a medical device company specializing in tools for accurate patient weight measurement to ensure precise dosing. Currently, Dr. Campos practices community-based emergency medicine with Essentia Health in Minnesota.
