Steven Cohen is responsible for oversight of the clinical quality of the Mobile Health Department including, Advanced Life Support (Paramedics), Basic Life Support, Specialty Care Transport Units, and Emergency Medical Dispatch. Steve unified the clinical policies and procedures of the RWJBarnabas Health EMS system. He has oversight over the quality improvement activities of the department including quality assurance, skills competencies and ensuring that all staff are compliant with the required certifications and training.

Steve holds an MBA and is a NJ & Nationally Registered Paramedic, a Fellow of the American College of Paramedic Executives (ACPE) and serves as the Chair Board of ACPE. Steve is a board member of the Natioanl EMS Quality Alliance, and is National Faculty for the FTEP (Field Training and Evaluation Program).
