Carmine Fiore is a retired FDNY-EMS first responder and a combat medic with the New York Army National Guard since 2008. With over 15 years of frontline experience on NYC streets, he has responded to major crises, including Hurricane Sandy and the COVID-19 pandemic. Behind the scenes, Carmine battled PTSD and addiction, surviving 15 overdoses and enduring over 30 treatment programs. His journey from crisis to recovery has inspired him to become an advocate for mental health and resilience.

Carmine shares his powerful story to empower first responders to address their own struggles, foster a culture of support and understanding within EMS. Through his speaking engagements, he provides actionable strategies to build resilience, combat stigma, and thrive in high-pressure careers, inspiring others to find strength in the face of adversity.
