Throughout his healthcare career, Steven has accumulated experience across various clinical environments, including Emergency Services, 911 & Critical Care Transport, as well as inpatient ICU. First obtaining his EMT-B certification when he was 16, he has been an ALS Provider for 19 years and a Nurse for 14 years. He is a Flight Nurse, national presenter, a contributing author for three textbooks and was recently recognized by the Emergency Nurses Association as one of their "20 Under 40" for his contributions to Emergency Nursing. He a self-proclaimed nerd, amateur network engineer and wannabe auto-mechanic; enjoying technical projects, including helping to move an in-person course to an online format. Tackling these projects creates goals and opportunities for learning on all fronts (which includes fixing cars with no experience or training!)
