Maki Lloyd is currently the Deputy Chief of EMS for the Phoenix Fire Department. Chief Lloyd has been with the department for 24 years and has served multiple roles in various operational and command assignments as a Firefighter, Captain, Battalion Chief, Division Chief and Deputy Chief. Chief Lloyd has been a paramedic for 23 years, is a member of the Technical Rescue Team and the Hazardous Materials Team and is a member of USAR Team Arizona Task Force 1 where he has served on multiple FEMA deployments during national disaster response(s). Chief Lloyd has been directly involved in Operations and Training throughout his career including serving as the Division Chief over training at the PFD Fire Training Academy, battalion training, and currently overseeing the EMS Division.
