Starting his journey with Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team as Medical Officer at age 23, Jamie has since progressed to become the Team Leader, where the team delivers crucial pre-hospital care in some of the most demanding environments in the U.K. His dedication and leadership were recognised when he received an award for their exceptional response to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping to transform Mountain Rescue Medical care during unprecedented challenges. . His extensive expedition experience has further honed his skills in providing medical support in diverse and remote locations, from film to scientific teams. Jamie trained with the North East Ambulance Service and subsequently joined the Scottish Ambulance Service as a member of the Special Operations Response Team, North. Currently, Jamie serves as a Winch Paramedic with Bristow Helicopters / HM Coastguard, providing critical Search and Rescue helicopter service.
