George Solomon, MHS, FP-C, CCP-C, TP-C is the Director of EMS, Disaster Medicine, and Accreditation for the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has been in public safety for almost 20 years with diverse experience, education, and knowledge in EMS, Critical Care, Fire Science, Disaster Preparedness and Response. Before coming to ACEP, he was a Battalion Chief for one of Colorado’s largest ambulance service providers, where he brought innovation, strategic growth, and implementation in the enhancement of out-of-hospital patient care through robust education and training. Through evidence-based theory and best practices, he reinvigorated the way education and training were implemented within his agency with data-driven results that enhanced patient care in the out-of-hospital setting. He is currently a PhD candidate, where he is studying the incorporation of human performance technology to drive clinician performance in out-of-hospital education and training.
