Dr. Katie Tataris is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago. She is also the Medical Director for the Chicago South EMS System in Region 11 which provides medical oversight to EMS agencies in Chicago including the Chicago Fire Department. She is the Program Director for the EMS Fellowship at University of Chicago. Dr. Tataris served as the co-lead of the EMS Workgroup for the DNC Health and Medical Planning Committee. She also provides leadership for special EMS programs including Mobile Integrated Healthcare, alternate response teams for behavioral health emergencies, and EMS physician care for event medicine.
