I am currently an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Clinical Director of the leukemia service and myeloproliferative neoplasm program at Massachusetts General Hospital. I was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to the United States for college. I completed my undergraduate degree at Tufts University and medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I completed my residency training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and my fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center.
I joined the faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2014 where I established a program to care for MPN patients. My research is devoted to improving care for patients with MPN patients through clinical and translational research.
