Intended Learners

This educational activity is designed for academic and community-based hematologists, hematologists/oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician associates, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals involved in the care for patients with hematologic malignancies.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Critically evaluate the latest data presented at major 2024 hematological conferences, focusing on key study designs, endpoints, and statistical analyses that influence clinical practice
  • Analyze the pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and mechanisms of action of newly approved hematologic and oncologic therapies/indications, highlighting their molecular targets and pathways
  • Assess the clinical trial evidence supporting these approvals, including efficacy data, safety profiles, and patient selection criteria, to refine therapeutic strategies in daily practice
  • Synthesize findings from pivotal clinical trials to identify which results are poised to redefine standard-of-care treatments in hematology/oncology
  • Highlight high-impact ongoing clinical trials that have the potential to alter therapeutic paradigms in hematology and oncology in the near future

PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATES/ASSISTANTS

AAPAHMP Education has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with the AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 14.00 AAPA Category 1 credits. PAs should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Requirements for Credit

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session(s) and overall conference evaluations, as well as post-test(s), if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone or if your browser settings do not allow a new tab/window to open.

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
