Dr. Kerri Glassner is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Houston Methodist Hospital and a part of the Fondren Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) program. Dr. Glassner is also Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Houston Methodist & Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Glassner completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. She also completed a Crohn's and Colitis Foundation visiting IBD fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Glassner's research interests include the use of combination biologic and small molecule therapy for refractory IBD and liver disease associated with IBD. She is also passionate about optimizing the care of women with IBD and is the co-editor of a book focusing on women's health in IBD. She is the program director of the Houston Methodist Hospital inflammatory bowel disease fellowship. She completed specialized training in intestinal ultrasound for IBD through IBUS in Milan, Italy.
