Marina Ivanov received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. She completed her Pharmacy practice residency at Mayo Clinic-Arizona. Since then, she has further developed her educational portfolio while also becoming board certified ambulatory care pharmacist and board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Dr. Ivanov currently works in a multidisciplinary care team under a Collaborative Practice Agreement as an Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Pharmacist Specialist. She is imbedded in the IBD Clinic and works with physicians, fellows, nurses, nutritionists, psychologists and supporting staff to provide well-rounded and personalized treatment plans for patients. the majority of her time is dedicated to direct patient care in the ambulatory setting, but she also provides consultative services to the inpatient GI team for hospitalized patients with IBD. She is one of the preceptors and developers of the PGY-1 Community Practice Residency where she provides mentorship and training in inflammatory bowel disease to pharmacy residents during their IBD rotation. She received the Joe L. Rogers Allied Health Teacher of the Year for 2023 for Excellence in Teaching the Mayo Clinic Fellows' Association.Assistant Professor of Medicine in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Ivanov is an active member of multiple enterprise-wide and Arizona campus committees and task forces. She also maintains active membership in multiple national and state pharmacy organizations.
