Dr. Loganantharaj completed her undergraduate training at the University of Texas in Austin. She then completed her M.D. and residency in Internal Medicine at LSUHSC in New Orleans in 2018. She completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship training at LSUHSC in New Orleans in 2021. She obtained additional inflammatory bowel disease training by attending multiple IBD conferences and focusing on IBD in her third year of fellowship. She joined the LSU Health Science faculty as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine Section of Gastroenterology and as the Director of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She has organized Women in Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease conferences with nationally known speakers that were well attended by healthcare providers across the Gulf Coast. She has served as a reviewer for multiple publications for the American Journal of Gastroenterology and Crohn's and Colitis 360 Journal. She has been chosen to be part of the IBD-REACH committee for 2024-2028 and was selected to be an AIBD ambassador for 2024-2026. She is part of the IUSCAN Committee Group and is working towards implementing intestinal ultrasound in the LSU IBD clinic.
