Emad Mansoor, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Case Western Reserve University and on the IBD faculty at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He is the Associate Editor at the Crohn’s and Colitis 360 Journal of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Editorial Board member of the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Journal and member of the Healthcare Professional Education Committee of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Northern Ohio. He has a specific focus in clinical and epidemiologic investigation through big data analytics and utilization of large datasets. His research interests include IBD and cardiovascular disease, epidemiology of colorectal cancer in IBD, vaccine-preventable illnesses in IBD, early-onset colorectal cancer and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease. His research work has yielded over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts published in leading medical journals, and his work has been presented at International and National conferences.
