Priscila Santiago M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
Dr. Santiago attended medical school at the Universidade Federal da Bahia in Brazil. She completed Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Miami, and Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester, where she received the Eugenie Bolz Award for Excellence in Patient Care. She subsequently completed an advanced fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) at Mayo Clinic - Rochester. Her research interests include inflammatory pouch diseases, the overlap between IBD and primary sclerosing cholangitis, and emerging therapies in IBD.
