Dr. Berera is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Inflammatory Bowel Disease specialist in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. She completed a combined undergraduate and medical school training in the Honors Program in Medicine at the University of Miami, where she completed a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Berera completed an advanced fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the University of Pennsylvania.
