Dr. Krugliak Cleveland is an assistant professor and the director of the Intestinal ultrasound Program at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Krugliak Cleveland is interested in the use of novel therapies to treat IBD and the use of new technologies for the management of IBD. She is an expert in intestinal ultrasound, a national leader in dissemination of this technology and cofounder of the Intestinal Ultrasound Group of the United States and Canada (iUSCAN).
She investigates the application of new technology for the detection and prevention of complications of IBD including neoplasia and ulcerative colitis as a progressive disease. Her original scholarship has been published in Gastroenterology, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Digestive Diseases and Sciences. She is on the editorial board of the ACG Education Universe and an active committee of the international Intestinal Ultrasound Group.
