Koen Deloose

Koen Deloose, MD, is a vascular surgeon. He earned his medical degree magna cum laude from Catholic University, Louvain, Belgium. He completed his surgical training in Belgium and joined the staff at AZ Sint-Blasius in 2002, where he is since 2004 medical director of the CLI-Wound Clinic since and since 2016 Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Deloose is a Board Member of the Royal Belgian Society of Vascular Surgery. 
As an active researcher, Dr. Deloose has authored and co-authored more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, more than 10 chapters in orthopedic, vascular, and endovascular books, and many posters and papers in conference proceedings. He is a member of the International Editorial Board, Endovascular Section, of the Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery, the Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Therapy, and Endovascular Today.
Dr. Deloose has delivered more than 750 lectures and has served as organizer, moderator, or panelist at more than 100 National, European, and International congresses. He performed many live cases at LINC (Leipzig, Germany), CICE (Sao Paolo, Brazil) and VIVA (Las Vegas, US). He is the founding Course director and board member of the Organizing Committee of i-MEET (Nice, France).
As co-founding director of ID3-Medical, he is a teacher, proctor, and co-investigator for several medical device companies in-hospital and in his co-owned animal lab in Belgium. He is involved with his ID3-team as CRO in several sponsored and physician-initiated pre-clinical and clinical trials in the vascular field.
