Kelly E. Dunn, Ph.D., MBA is a Professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Neurobiology and the Director of the Kahlert Institute for Addiction Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Dunn has worked in the area of opioid use disorder treatment and withdrawal mitigation since 2005 and has served as the Principal Investigator on grants totaling more than $20 million from the National Institute on Drug Abuse focused on discovery and interventions for substance use disorders and comorbid conditions. Dr. Dunn has held several leadership positions including President and Board Member for the College on the Problems of Drug Dependence, President of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Division on Psychopharmacology and Substance Use, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Experimental and Clinical Psychopharmacology (ECP), Chair of the Board of Convention Affairs for the APA annual convention, and Co-Editor at the Journal of Addiction Medicine. She is also the editor of the Oxford Handbook of Opioids and Opioid Use Disorder.
