Dr. Ying Liu is a medical oncologist in the Gynecologic Medical Oncology service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City with a secondary appointment on the Clinical Genetic Service where she serves as Lead of the Inherited GYN Cancer Program. She specializes in caring for women with gynecological cancers including ovarian, uterine (endometrial), cervical, and other rare GYN cancers and also provides counseling and genetic testing for patients with all different types of cancers. Her research involves studying the genetic and genomic drivers of cancer and how they influence the development of disease. She also leads clinical trials using novel therapeutics to target these pathways in GYN cancers and has a special interest in health disparities, particularly as related to genetic testing.
