Dr. Sameera Kumar is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer . She is the primary thoracic radiation oncologist and treats the majority of the thoracic malignancies including non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, thymomas, and mesothelioma. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University and completed her radiation oncology residency at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests include reducing the toxicity of radiation therapy treatments for non-small cell lung cancer.
