Dr. Shipra Gandhi is a fellowship-trained medical oncologist and a physician-scientist leading an active breast cancer research program. Her research spans the areas of clinical trials, biomarkers and translational research focusing on use of novel immunotherapy agents and the role of psychosocial stress in breast cancer. Her goal as a physician-scientist is to conduct innovative clinical trials using novel agents and to take discoveries from the lab to the bedside to improve life expectancy as well as quality-of-life for cancer patients.
