Jean Paul Farhat, holds an M.D. and a Master’s in Neuroscience from the University of Saint Joseph, Beirut, Lebanon. With a background in psychiatry, his work has focused on schizophrenia, neuropathic pain, and other disorders.

In 2022, Dr. Farhat moved to the United States and joined the Department of Psychiatry at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he conducted clinical trials with patients diagnosed with schizophrenia. His research experience has deepened his expertise in psychiatric disorders and therapeutic advancements.

Currently, Dr. Farhat serves as a medical science liaison for Teva Pharmaceuticals’ CNS Psych team, covering Florida and Puerto Rico. His role involves engaging with key opinion leaders, supporting medical education, and facilitating research in schizophrenia and movement disorders. With a commitment to scientific excellence and patient-centered care, he works to bridge the gap between clinical practice and pharmaceutical innovation.
