Joseph V. Lombardi, MD, MBA, FACS, is a Professor of Surgery of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and leading international vascular surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive endovascular therapy. Treating all forms of vascular disease, Dr. Lombardi specializes in complex and minimally invasive aortic reconstruction as well as lower extremity arterial disease and carotid stenosis. Dr. Lombardi led 2 international trials on TEVAR and Bare stenting for the management of Type B aortic Dissection (STABLE 1 &2). His special interests include aortic aneurysm repair, complex aortic repair, thoracic aortic dissection, carotid disease and peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Lombardi has been named one of U.S. News and Report Magazine “Top Docs”, as well as Philadelphia and SJ magazines “Top Doctors” list for many years in a row. Dr. Lombardi is the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Director of the Cooper Aortic Center, Program Director for the Vascular and Endovascular Residency Program.
