Intended Learners

This educational activity is designed for interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, clinical cardiologists, clinical radiologists, neurologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and vascular ultrasound technologists.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Understand current trends in noninvasive diagnostic testing techniques to diagnose, plan treatment for, and follow cardiovascular disease 
  • Analyze recommendations for IAC stenosis velocity criteria
  • Evaluate patients for failing or poorly maturing dialysis access and review sonographic criteria for percutaneous arteriovenous fistula creation
  • Assess findings from venous duplex testing in patients with deep venous reflux, chronic pelvic pain disorders, COVID, and after venous stenting to improve patient outcomes
  • Analyze renal and mesenteric arterial studies and understand fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) and vasculitis
  • Compare and contrast techniques of Doppler imaging

Activity Overview

To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the full activity and submit a completed evaluation form. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 1 year of the training will receive immediate documentation of credit.
