Laurence Needleman
MD

Laurence Needleman was born in the Bronx, studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at Cornell, moved around and landed in Philadelphia to work at Thomas Jefferson University. He is the second Director of Ultrasound succeeding Barry Goldberg. He trained in Radiology at Cornell Medical Center in Radiology and was a fellow at Jefferson for Body Imaging. He is former president of the IAC-VT. He is particularly interested in vascular ultrasound. He is on the Board of Directors of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound.
