Zayd Eldadah

Dr. Eldadah is Physician Executive Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Chief Strategy Officer, MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute. He completed a medical degree, a PhD in Human Genetics, and a residency in internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then stayed at Johns Hopkins to complete fellowships in clinical cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology before joining the faculty at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 2004.

He has been certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Eldadah's clinical interests include all aspects of heart rhythm care with a special focus on atrial fibrillation and the use of medical devices to improve quality of life. His research interests include improving existing technology and developing novel ways of understanding and relieving heart rhythm problems, as well as better understanding genetic factors influencing atrial fibrillation and the risk of sudden cardiac death.
