Dr. Ellenbogen is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the Heart Rhythm Society. He is a member of the Council on Clinical Cardiology and the Council on Circulation of the American Heart Association. He has served as Chair of the American Heart Association's Committee on Electrocardiography and Arrhythmias, Education Committee of the Heart Rhythm Society, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Heart Rhythm Society. He has received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Heart Rhythm Society and the Outstanding Mentor Award from the VCU School of Medicine. He is currently President Elect of the Heart Rhythm Society. He serves on the Editorial Board for JACC-EP, Heart Rhythm and American Heart Journal.
