The Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requires prescribers renewing their DEA license to complete a minimum of eight training hours on opioid or substance use disorders. Registration

    • Group Registration

      We are pleased to offer group registration rates for any organization planning to send five or more people from the same organization to the conference. Groups of 5+ will receive a discount of $100/person. Please note this discount is not applicable to Student/Resident/Fellow registrations. The Group Discount cannot be combined with other promotional codes.

      To receive a group discount, please complete the following steps:

      1. Please use the "Add Registrant" feature if you would like to pay as a group. Have everyone in your group register up to the payment page, but DO NOT make any payments.

      2. Once everyone in the group has registered, please click here to submit the list of the registrants in your group. Include "Rx Summit Group Discount" in the subject line.

      3. We will apply the group discount to your registrations and send updated invoices.
       

    • Cancellation Policy

      Cancellation requests for Rx and Illicit Drug Summit 2024 must be submitted by clicking here or postmarked by March 4, 2024, which is 30 days before the start of the meeting. A cancellation fee of $100.00 (or full registration amount, whichever is less) will be deducted from the refund.

      Registrants wishing to cancel may instead transfer their registration to someone else without penalty if they send a written request with the replacement person’s name by April 1, 2024.

      Cancellations received after March 4, 2024, will not be refunded. If you do not cancel in advance, no refunds will be issued once the event has concluded, regardless of whether you participated in the event.

      Credit vouchers may be offered if the program is suspended or shortened due to conditions or circumstances beyond HMP Global’s control, including but not limited to interruptions in internet services, power outages, and any cancellations/modifications related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    • Code of Conduct

      HMP Global is committed to providing a professional, welcoming, safe, and respectful space during our in-person and online events, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, disability, and/or other characteristics. Our attendees bear equal responsibility for creating a safe and welcoming environment for participants.
       
      Our Code of Conduct outlines what behavior is expected of attendees and what behaviors will not be tolerated. All attendees at any HMP Global in-person, online, or hybrid event or function are expected to abide by this Code.

    • Health & Safety

      The health and safety of all visitors to our conferences remain our top priority. We remain current with local and venue health and safety guidelines and will adjust our approach as needed to ensure a safe environment for all conference participants.

    • Children

      Under no circumstances will children under the age of 18 be allowed at the conference, any presentations, on the show floor, or in the Exhibit Hall during installation or dismantling. Because of limited seating capacity and the highly technical nature of the programs, children under the age of 18 are not invited to attend presentations. 

    • Special Meals

      It is our pleasure to arrange special meals for attendees. We reserve the right to charge for all special requests. To be accommodated, requests must be made at least 7 days prior to the event. For more information, please contact us here.

    • Special Needs

      Rx and Illicit Drug Summit is committed to making its activities accessible to all individuals. If you have specials needs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and need an accommodation, please email rgeary@hmpglobal.com.

    • Sessions

      Sessions are subject to change. 

      Seating is limited for all session rooms and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

      No individual or entity may electronically record or broadcast any portion of Rx and Illicit Drug Summit without prior written consent from HMP Global. Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during sessions without the express written consent of HMP Global is strictly prohibited. Press representatives must receive a Press Pass and photo/recording permission from HMP Global. HMP Global reserves the rights to any approved audio and video production of presentations at all HMP Global events.

    • Liability Statement

      Definitions: HMP Global is the owner of Rx and Illicit Drug Summit. HMP Global and Rx and Illicit Drug Summit are known collectively in this Statement as Rx and Illicit Drug Summit. 

      I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events and activities as my own free and intentional act, and I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation in these events. I freely and knowingly give this acknowledgment that I am able to participate in Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events, and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being and safety. 

      Rx and Illicit Drug Summit plans to take photographs and video material at Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events and reproduce them in Rx and Illicit Drug Summit educational, news, and promotional material in print, electronic, and other media, including websites. By participating in Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events, I grant Rx and Illicit Drug Summit the right to use my name, photograph, and biography for such purposes. All postings become the property of Rx and Illicit Drug Summit. Postings may be displayed, distributed, or used by Rx and Illicit Drug Summit for any purpose. 

      Furthermore, I acknowledge Rx and Illicit Drug Summit's right to crop, splice, treat, and edit any photographs taken of me at Rx and Illicit Drug Summit's sole discretion. I waive my right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me. 

      I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless Rx and Illicit Drug Summit and its agents and employees, including any company publishing and/or distributing the finished product in whole or in part, from and against any claims, damages, or liability arising from or related to the use of the photographs, including but not limited to any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or in the taking, processing, reduction, or production of the finished product, its publication, or distribution. 

    • Copyright

      Companies that submit artwork or upload or link any material (including but not limited to images, text, documents, and/or video files) to the website are solely responsible for the content of such material and for gaining required permissions under copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other applicable law for the use of such material. (Caution: Many websites purchase artwork from stock photo suppliers for the expressed website use or from hired photographers who have supplied only one-time rights.) By submitting any such material, the submitting company represents and agrees that (i) it has obtained the necessary permissions referenced above, (ii) any such material is not likely to defame and does not invade the privacy of any person, and (iii) it will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rx and Illicit Drug Summit, its affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, and agents (including, without limitation, its publishing partner or any agent acting on its behalf) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) resulting from the submitting company's breach of the obligations set forth in this paragraph. 

      All Rx and Illicit Drug Summit attendees and sponsors grant an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to HMP Global and Rx and Illicit Drug Summit and their industry partners, sponsors, and supporters to utilize, adapt, modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, and display any photographs, video and/or audio (collectively "Media") taken of them while attending any event or function at the Rx and Illicit Drug Summit for use in promotional, educational, informational, advertising or commercial materials and communications in any form now known or later developed, including but not limited to publications, websites, articles, brochures, books, magazines, newsletters, exhibits, videos, films, social media, advertisements, and training programs (collectively "Materials"). Furthermore, attendees hereby authorize and consent to the use of their name, image, likeness, and voice (collectively "Likeness") in the Media for all Materials or any other purposes deemed appropriate by HMP.
       
      All Rx and Illicit Drug Summit attendees and sponsors waive any right to be notified or to inspect or approve the Media or any Materials that are created using their Likeness, now or in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to them. They hereby waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Media or Materials. Attendees hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless HMP Global, Rx and Illicit Drug Summit, and their industry partners, sponsors, and supporters for any and all claims that attendees or any third party may have now or in the future for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement, defamation, or any other cause of action arising out of the use, utilization, adaptation, modification, reproduction, distribution, publicly performance, or display of their Likeness used in the Media and Materials. They understand and agree that HMP Global and Rx and Illicit Drug Summit are and shall be the exclusive owner of all right title and interest, including any copyright, in the Media and Materials.

    • Acceptance

      By registering for and attending Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events, I hereby agree that I accept the terms stated above and indemnify and hold harmless Rx and Illicit Drug Summit, its affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, and agents (including, without limitation, any agent acting on its behalf) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) resulting from attendance at Rx and Illicit Drug Summit events.

    • Disclaimer

      Rx and Illicit Drug Summit (Rx Summit), its contractors, and attending news media may be photographing or videotaping scientific sessions and events at the meeting. By attending Rx Summit, attendees acknowledge these activities and agree to allow their image to be used by Rx Summit in association publications, on the Rx Summit website, and in marketing and promotional materials. Attendees at Rx Summit waive all claims against Rx Summit for any liability resulting from these uses.

        • As of June 27, 2023, the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requires prescribers renewing their DEA registration to have completed at least eight hours of training on opioid or other substance use disorders. This training can be provided by a variety of organizations—including HMP Education.
