Lauren Bishop, MSW, LICSW has been working in the mental health field since 2017. She joined Recovery Centers of America in March of 2023 after working in a variety of inpatient and outpatient roles with individuals who have mental illness as well as substance use disorders. In her current role as the Clinical Director of the Westminster Recovery Centers of America site, she provides direction on the clinical care of patients and supervision for all of the clinical team members. Her specific role with the Firstline Unit has been to ensure that the behavioral treatment model meets the rigorous clinical standards necessary to support this unique patient population. She is also working with Anthony on the special training needs that clinicians on this unit have around boundaries and countertransference in addition to a multifaceted trauma-informed approach.
