Gabrielle Simons MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who practices culinary nutrition and manages the Teaching Kitchen program at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Gabrielle partners with clinics at BMC to provide evidence-based nutrition education and culinary training to diverse clients, including clients with substance use disorder. Gabrielle is passionate about nutritional psychology (the relationship between individuals, food, eating and their body) and nutritional psychiatry (the impact of foods and nutrients on mental health), and is in the process of obtaining her credential as an Intuitive Eating Counselor. Prior to becoming a dietitian, Gabrielle spent 10 years in the culinary field as a line cook, private chef, and children’s cooking instructor.
